Cron is a program scheduler for Windows modeled after the Unix utility of the same name. Using a powerful scheduling system, Cron is able to trigger events at regular intervals. Events can consist of up to three components: a program to execute (BAT, EXE, COM, or PIF), a WAV file to play, and/or a text message. Cron is small and efficient, exerting a minimal load on the operating system.

Dogs of War is a World War II simulation game. Each of up to five players assumes the role of one or more major powers in WWII: U.S.S.R., Germany, U.K., Japan, and U.S.A. Simple game mechanics make this war game easy to learn; complex decisions make this game a challenge to master.
Any combination of human, computer, and network opponents can be selected. Multiple players can participate in a game on any TCP/IP network, such as the internet. One computer acts as the server; the remaining opponents must connect to the server. Network load is extremely light, making the internet an ideal medium.

Gravity Well is an action/strategy game for Windows. Your goal is to expand your empire across a series of stars and planets. Three computer opponents with varying personalities aggressively compete with you for the same regions of space.
A variety of planetary installations and other space craft participate in a closed economic system that is geared toward expansion into space. You are the leader, giving direction to your empire through your actions. No micromanagement of units is required.
Each sector of space is composed of a number of stars. Planets orbit their stars in real time as you play the game. Stars and planets exert gravity upon your ship, requiring you to respond to changing gravitational conditions as you navigate through space and land upon planets.
Ship controls are similar to the classic arcade hit "Asteroids" with some notable exceptions. Your view into space smoothly pans as you approach the edges of your screen. View scale can be easily adjusted through a range of scales, providing wide panoramic views for interplanetary navigation and close-up detailed views for combat and tricky landing manoeuvres.

Icon Magnet keeps the icons in place at the bottom of your Windows desktop. Any movement of the Icon Magnet causes it to arrange the icons on your desktop. This is handy if you are meticulously tidy or if you use a program like Big Desktop and simply want to keep all of your icons on the current screen.
This is a 16-bit Windows program and will work on Window 3.1 and Windows NT 3.51 quite well. It runs under Windows 95 but isn't very useful.

MemWatch is a memory monitoring utility for Windows 3.1 and Windows 3.11. MemWatch continuously monitors several key Windows status structures and displays the results in either numeric or bargraph form. The current state of values can be checkpointed, making changes easy to identify.
This software was designed specifically for 16-bit Windows. The results may not be meaningful on Windows 95 and Windows NT.

Symmetrica is a powerful and friendly approach to drafting with a computer. Many features typically found only in high-end CAD systems have been incorporated into Symmetrica in an easy and intuitive fashion. SOFTWARE DISTRIBUTION AND LICENSING
Most of our products are distributed in full via the internet and other electronic media. Each product serves as a self contained demonstration. Certain features are typically disabled, requiring a software license to be purchased before all features become available to the user. This way, the customer is able to try the software before ever spending any money on the product.
Upon purchase of a license, a customer will receive a License Number and an associated Password. In some cases, an electronic key will be issued as well. This information is required to enable all product features.
Since our products are typically distributed electronically, media for each product is rarely required and is therefore sold separately.
QUANTITY DISCOUNT
When ordering ten or more licenses for a single product, a 10% discount may be applied to the product price. This discount may not be combined with any other promotional offer, unless otherwise noted.
SALES COMMISSION OFFERED ON SYMMETRICA(tm)
Anyone who purchases one Symmetrica Pro license is eligible for sales commissions. We will send you a commission on all subsequent sales that credit you as the sales person for the duration of this offer. You will receive 20% of the licensing fee on sales of Symmetrica and Symmetrica Pro licenses. On volume orders, the commission will be calculated after the volume discount is applied.
Software Engineering, Inc. reserves the right to cancel this sales commission offer at any time without prior notice. If we choose to cancel this offer, we will honor this commitment on all outstanding orders and any received within 30 days of cancellation.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES
All orders are subject to a fixed shipping and handling charge of $3.95. Orders are typically shipped via fax, mail, or e-mail, sometimes by FedEx or UPS. Many orders are sent to foreign countries. The handling fee offsets the average cost of filling an order, not the exact cost of filling each order.
UPGRADE POLICY
Our product version number consists of two parts, a version number and a release number, separated by a decimal point. When new software is distributed, the numbers are increased based upon the degree of changes to the software. If the changes are mainly bug fixes and minor improvements, only the release number is incremented. If the changes include significant new features or enhancements, the version number is incremented and the release number is reset to zero.
When you upgrade your software, your old password will no longer work and you must request a new password from Software Engineering, Inc. If the new software version number is the same as the previously licensed version and only the release number is different, the new password is provided at no charge. If the new software version differs from the previously licensed version, the charge is 25% of the price of the new product plus applicable shipping and handling charges.

SYMMETRICA(tm) RESOURCE LOCALIZATION KIT
If you would like to help us localize Symmetrica to your national language, we have a Resource Localization Kit that we can send you. It makes the task of translating all of the resources used by Symmetrica very easy. You must have Windows 95 or Windows NT and Visual C++ 4.0.
As the resources are localized to different languages, the new language resources will be distributed with Symmetrica. The setup program will offer a list of supported languages during product installation. Localized resources will also be publicly available at our web site.
